Anti-foamer for water treatment
Anti-foamer is a low cost liquid water-based paper mill defoamer which offers superior deaeration, drainage and cost effectiveness over many convertional water based defoamers.
Anti-foamer has demonstrated excellent deaeration and sheet formation on fine paper, linerboard and newsprint machines. Effective over a pH range of 4.0 - 10.0 Defoamer controls foam on paper machines using pulp stocks form waste paper, kraft, sulphite and groundwood mills. The fluid nature of Defoamer permits application by convertional methods or by spraying onto the wire.
BEF-160 Defoamer Application:
Can be applied neat or as a 1-2% dilution in water and is readily diluted by water and is normally unaffected by water hardness. Defoamer can be used on machines, which are operating with a stock temperature between 50-60 ° C.
Non-mineral oil products, such as Defoamer, result in cleaner defoamer make down system and reduced deposit formation on the paper machine. Defoamer is also an excellent effluent defoamer.
